I finally gave in to a turtleneck. I always thought turtlenecks to be boring and stupid, but my opinion about them have definitely changed by buying one! Even though when buying one, I didn't quite realise I was buying one...
Now how come I didn't realise this?
While I was shopping, I spotted this cute floral crop top with lace at the bottom at Forever 21. Instant love! There was a ribbon on the front, which I could tie so that was cute too. I did think it was weird it was in the same colour, but I didn't mind that much. I put it in my shopping bag and went to the cash register.
When I came home that evening and showed my mum my purchases I noticed the label was on the front. I asked myself why it would be on the front? On the back would be normal. Oh wait... The label WAS on the back. The ribbons on the front were the ribbons to "close" the turtleneck.
Turtleneck crop top: Forever 21. Jeans: Levi's. Satchel: Topshop. Ballet flats: Scapa.
The good news is: I have a turtleneck for more formal occasions, or whenever I feel like wearing a turtleneck, and I have a normal crop top for less formal occasions. Double win!
I definitely had to change my opinion about turtlenecks. They don't have to be the boring ones I used to wear as a kid. This printed one is actually quite cute, especially with the lace on the bottom. Yep, I'm convinced.
On the lips: Kiko Double Touch 112
Yes, I finally wear lipstick on an outfit picture! I've been starting to wear lipstick more regularly, but they just had never made the outfit pictures. This one is Kiko's Double Touch in 112. I bought it two months ago in Paris, which you could read in my
Parisian Shoplog, and I'm so happy I did! It's perfect during the day or for a night out, since it stays on really well. I have no idea if the ten hours-promise would be right, but I guess if you don't eat anything greasy it's quite possible it will.
